How will they pay their army? See the threads on HR1388 and Senate bill S277, being rushed to a vote on cloture today and motion that mandatory quorum would be waived. The CBO estimates these bills will cost 5-6 billion. That ought to be a good start on paying for their army.

H.R. 1388 (ORDER NO. 35)

Ordered, That upon the conclusion of Morning Business on Monday,
March 23, 2009, the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed
to H.R. 1388, an act to reauthorize and reform the national service
laws; provided, that the vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the
motion to proceed to H.R. 1388 occur at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23,
2009; provided further, that if cloture is invoked, then the post
cloture time count as if cloture had been invoked at 3:00 p.m.; further,
that with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to
proceed, the mandatory quorum required under Rule XXII be waived. (Mar.
19, 2009.)
