When was the last time you read the ingredients on the cheapest hot dogs? And this lady is not feeding the kids, she’s feeding herself.
Hot dogs make a wonderful occasional meal. If she is feeding them hot dogs every day, it’s because she is either lazy or stupid.
She could buy a fryer for a few bucks and roast it, serve it with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy and a vegetable. She could then boil the carcass, add a bucks worth of rice, a bucks worth of carrots, and serve a nutritious soup.
She could serve peanut butter and honey on whole wheat bread with an apple on the side.
She could boil eggs and cut them up in a bowl of greens.
Don’t blame the hot dogs, blame the mother.
