Let's save our guns, ammo, and talk of treason for when they try to abolish the 2ND amendment.

It is not treasonous to discuss the dividing up of the USA. It is real possibility and NEEDS to be discussed. It is wise and prudent to do so. It happened once, it could happen again. Last time there were two major issues, states rights and slavery. Now the two sides disagree about everything. There is really very little holding things together IMHO. The real question is can a POSSIBLE division be done in a humane and peaceful way. Discussing that is better than shooting at each other, don't you think?

Yeah, you have two basic viewpoints that are becoming so different that there is almost no way you can reconcile or compromise between them. Should we continue trying to live together and beat each other up in an ideological Cold War that can go hot or should we just part as friends? I'm sure if we split up in a friendly way, both sides can still trade, visit each other, work together in space, be part of NATO and so on.

The alternative is much worse. What if one side pushes the other into a corner, the way it looks, we are getting close to being in that corner. Then you'll have someone like a latter day Tim McVeigh, Ted Kaczinski or Gavilro Princip get an idea to do something stupid and you'll end up in a hot civil war. It will end in one of two ways, we wipe them out or they wipe us out. Even a kitten or a baby chick will fight if they are cornered and have nothing to lose. Nothing to lose is when things are the most dangerous.

I don't want it to come down to that, if the kool-aid drinkers don't or won't wise up, then they would be better off in their own country or we kick them out and send them to Europe since they want to emulate Europe all the time.

I just want to be left alone, if they want to run things, send them to Europe or let them have their own country, just leave the rest of us alone.
