It is not treasonous to discuss the dividing up of the USA. It is real possibility and NEEDS to be discussed. It is wise and prudent to do so. It happened once, it could happen again. Last time there were two major issues, states rights and slavery. Now the two sides disagree about everything. There is really very little holding things together IMHO. The real question is can a POSSIBLE division be done in a humane and peaceful way. Discussing that is better than shooting at each other, don’t you think?

Very well said, my only fear is, we as a nation have let this go on to long. Can we really get out of it without bloodshed? I don’t know, but I pray we can.
