That pick would be better if the “Salute” was mirror image as if zero was reading it. It’s still pretty dang good, though!

“be honest: he’s ready to TALK ABOUT the castle.
He’s ready to TALK ABOUT STORMING the castle.
He’s ready to TALK AND WATCH OTHERS storm the castle.”

Rush has to be VERY CAREFUL about what he says. He’s ALWAYS under a microscope, and if he even hints about something like civil unrest, the Feds and the Obamunists will come down, HARD, not only him, but his sponsors, and his stations.

That is the “new” reality he has to live with.

And remember, this is the guy who got tens of thousands of people to show up in a small Colorado Town on short notice for a “Bake Sale”.

He’s more of danger to Obama and the left with the THREAT that he could call for a national Demonstration, than he is by actually calling for it. THEY know that, too.

Rush said that congress broke their oath of office with there AIG bonus package.

They most assuredly did!

Any time a congressman or senator votes for ANTHING they believe to be unconstitutional they violate their oaths. When a president signs a bill he "believes to be unconstitutional" he has done the same!

This is going to get tractionFrom your lips to God's ear! I pray that it does but I won't hold my breath if you don't mind!

this thread should be on the rush daily live thread. multiple threads just dilute the conversation and help the left. (it is akin to jamming)

IMHO, he should have shown at least a scintilla of anger at the previous administration too for its equally liberal policies instead of acting the consistent Bushbot and giving “DUH-pee-yew” a constant pass!

IMHO, you don't know what you are talking about. Please don't embarrass yourself by saying that you listen to Rush. If you had, you'd know that Rush has criticized Bush quite a bit. In fact, I've heard him blame the fall of the GOP on Bush. Who do you think led the charge against Bush's shamnesty plan???

“Heroes do”
Rush is doing and it just happens that talking is what he does best. He really is the Ben Franklin of our time.

Very specifically, he’s mad about the gang rape of AIG on the part of Congress when the provisions to pay the AIG bonuses were explicitly in the stimulus bill written by Pelosi et al but which nobody could take the time to read. Meanwhile, the ridiculously excessive coverage of this affair has created a de facto mob, to the point where AIG employees are now receiving death threats and have news media and angry neighbors standing around and yelling outside their homes....the media having publicized their names (and presumably, addresses) And now, Andrew Cuomo is talking about considering providing private security for some AIG employees. What’s more, Timmy Geithner is saying he “wasn’t aware of the full scope” of the bonuses to be paid, and of course, Dodd’s part of this was just kind of an oversight on his part.

Really, really sick stuff. Rush is most pissed off at the invasion of privacy occurring to AIG employees and the insane hypocrisy of congress**ts railing on Liddy (AIG CEO) all day long when the bonuses were specifically in the bill they just signed.

I hear you.

Pelosi’s rant about immigration is a direct contradiction to her oath to uphold and safeguard the US constitution.

This incident reminds me of what happened to Trent Lott when he opened his mouth a few years ago. Why isn’t there outrage to demand her removal from that leadership position?

I know the answer.

Yep........now that they cannot pass blame, they need to deflect it, everyone and anyone will be targeted....once you look at this as a failed trap that caught the hunter, it is kinda humorous, not for the people being targeted, but the pitiful attempts to deflect blame..

“See, the mean old republicans have given cash to their wall street buddies again”

Even though ALL of those “Wall Street Buddies” are DEMOCRATS....

I’m betting they did not think that THEY, who gave so heavily to Obama, Democrats, and Democrat causes would be the targets of Democrat hate....

I haven’t listened to Rush in years, but I can’t imagine him being any angrier than I’ve heard him in the past...

I found a live streaming link if anyone is interested.

I won't go that far, but you are technically correct. If you connect what Glenn Beck has been taking about in terms of monetizing the debt which you touched on we have had a horrible week.

Yes they are paying class warfare as a means of diverting attention to "Pay to attention to the man behind the curtain".

Yet, not a word about the "real" protest, the "Tea-Parties" by the Lame Streams, yet we have Union-Doups darn near inciting violence against AIG workers. This is frightening to all producers of wealth no matter what good or service they produce. As I understand this bill, it is written so loosely it can be utilized against anyone.

So if you are a heart surgeon doing transplants, when do they come after you???

And when does said surgeon quit and pull a John Galt?

My Soapbox Agenda.

Send a paperback copy of The Federalist Papers with The Constitution included in the book.

http://www.patriotshop.us has them for under $10.

How can Congress swear to support and defend that with which it is not intimately familiar? They haven’t read The Constitution OR The Federalist Papers in a long time or ever.

Just curious if he’s mentioned the National Citizen Community Corps with the FORCED LABOR CAMPS, yet today, or has he brought it up in the past?

I don’t understand why rush or anyone else is making the following point:

What Congress did yesterday is a specific dis-incentive to the very professionals who have been charged with pulling AIG up from its bootstraps and making it solvent again.

The Dims have no intention of allowing any corporation the free market tools to heal their companies to a point where they can re-pay the government for their bailouts.

Democrats were the ones who put a choke hold on their better practices to put them in a position to fail in the first place—now they won’t let them fix their own problems.

Their agenda is the total destruction of corporate America, and thereby our Capitalist system.

"And that change is a destruction of the free market and replacing it with a command economy..."

Well, you can only screw people ONE TIME. And, you can only tax people ONE TIME also. Money disappears after that with good people. Then the government will be taxing itself.

Question: When does _MY_ oath to protect the Constitution from enemies, foreign and domestic, enable me to kill these traitors?

I cynically believe that anyone of sufficient rank/authority to grant me some legitimacy (legally speaking) is embroiled in the politics, themselves, and therefore compromised.
