Class Warfare: Working Families Offer Field Trip to AIG Executives Mansions Friday, March 20, 2009 By Susan Jones, Senior Editor
(CNSNews.com) - "We're all mad at AIG," says the pro-union Connecticut Working Families Party. Tapping into some of that rage, the liberal group is sponsoring a "field trip" on Saturday to show working people from Hartford and Bridgeport how and where the AIG executives live. Some of the executives who received bonuses work in the company's Wilton, Conn., office.
Those executives "bear a large share of the responsibility for bringing the economy to its knees, and now the same folks are getting hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses -- at our expense," Connecticut Working Families says on its Web site. "Join us for a field trip to bring them the message."
Jon Green, the director of Connecticut Working Families, told the New York Times on Friday that his group would be peaceful and lawful and would not foment lingering rage at AIG unnecessarily.
The field trip will give folks in Bridgeport and Hartford and other parts of Connecticut who are struggling and losing their homes and their jobs and their health insurance an opportunity to see what kinds of lifestyle billions of dollars in credit-default swaps can buy, Green told the newspaper.
The Times on Friday noted that some AIG executives fear for their safety.

They're already doing that just by opening their pie holes.
A trip to see the homes of the union leaders homes must, in all fairness, be included in the field trip.
Idiots. most of those executives probably voted democrat.
Maybe they should castigate the idiots who elect Dodd and Co. to the Senate to give this stuff away.
Oh, wait...
This is so wrong!
We need to stop this mob mentality!
The goal is to have us turn on each other, leaving the government claiming only they can solve our problems.
God help us!
Great point.
I was beginning to feel that the AIG people were probably being targeting a bit unfairly. Then I realized that most of them probably either voted for and/or donated to Obama, and I don't feel so sympathetic!
How about visiting a few democrat politicians mansions? It's their own union dues paying for it all.
Would someone please work on a “tour” of the homes of Congress. I would love to see 50 busloads of folks jamming the back streets of DC.
If the AIG execs were on the ball, they would plant large signs in the yards with the following message:
“OBAMA’S ECONOMIC ADVISER FRANKLIN RAINES TOOK 70 MILLION DOLLARS IN BONUSES OUT OF FANNIE MAE”
“THE DEMOCRATS VOTED FOR THE BILL THAT ALLOWED NO CAPS ON BONUSES”
“OBAMA KNEW ABOUT THE BONUSES LAST YEAR...HE VOTED FOR THE BILL.”
Will Barney Frank and Andrew Cuomo be there to lead the mob? A public execution would do wonders in getting all of those bonuses “voluntarily” returned.
How can this be? Oboma was suppose to unite the world. Remember? Isn't that what the liberal media said?
Seriously, Oboma has got to be one of the most destructive forces this country has ever had. People have never been angrier or more frustrated.
When are they going to take them by Barney Franks, Chris Dodd’s and Maxine Waters’ places? Just think where we might be if banks hadn’t been pressured by RATS in Congress to lend to unqualified borrowers ... some of whom might be on this tour.
BTW, what’s with this “working families” stuff? Do the loudmouths organizing this dumb tour believe that the executives of AIG don’t work? I’m willing to bet a large sum that they work a lot more hours per week than these whiners.
He's probably helping organize the tour...
It’s all part of the plan, folks.
and so it begins. Bolshevism + Twitter = Ayn Rand’s worst nightmare.
gee where did they get those addresses.
Obama is pushing the french revolution.
In order to pay for his tax and spend insanity, Obama is going to have to resort to confiscation.
I wonder if Gorelick’s 90 MILLION FM bonus going to be confiscated...
Union Thugs on Parade.
