I referred to believers being judged based on what happened with Johan, where God didn’t condemn Ninevah because of the repentance and mercy toward the many who were either children or mentally whatever
If there are enough believers therefore, God shows mercy. But, if believers are not up to snuff and are living waontonly, they still have their reward, but their lives deserve judgement; many believe wars happen due to this, people being cleansed, brought to their knees to believe and then given space to act on it
so also with nations. Nations exist here and now, God makes eternal judgement in Heaven, but God makes physical judgements now, in our time, and the US is due
Oh, I agree. We’re headed for some earthly judgement here in America, but this is not the “final” judgement of the tribulation. This is just another case of God putting the wicked in power over His people such that they turn their eyes toward Him instead of relying on earthly “idols”.
