Over the years, some of my wildest critics seem to have assumed I am Jewish. At the same time, some of my closest friends wish I were.

So let me set the record straight: I live in New York. I have a wife who craves Chinese food. And people I trust tell me I practically invented the word "chutzpah."

Murdoch is an exceptionally smart guy and he gets the linkage between Israel and the West. In short, Israel is the canary in the coal mine. If Israel is abandoned and dies, the Jihadists will rightly conclude the West has lost its will to survive and act accordingly. Sadly, he is one of the few (only?) major News moguls who gets it. Good thing he's in charge of Fox!

This assault comes from people who make clear they have no intention of ever living side-by-side in peace with a Jewish state - no matter how many concessions Israel might make. The reason for this is also clear: These are men who cannot abide the idea of freedom, tolerance and democracy. They hate Israel for the same reasons they hate us.

Truer words were never spoken and all the more reason Israel should never concede one square inch of territory and should never make any peace pacts with any of their enemies in the region. Their enemy's goal has always been the same and always will be, The total destruction of Israel as a nation and the death of all Jews everywhere.

We were in Rome and nothing else was open that took a VISA card. One of my more memorable Christmases.

I'll give Murdoch credit where credit is due regarding his understanding of Israel's critical role in the fight against Islamofacism.

But this does not negate the fact that Murdoch in general has veered away from his "conservative" roots in the past decade or so, and his shift leftward is reflected in the content of his media outlets. When FOX News began to embrace "fair and balanced," they abandoned their earlier role as a conservative alternative to just about all of the rest of the MSM.

ok but there seems to be an unofficial Jewish-American ‘custom’ to eat at chinese restaurants, probably because everyone had the day off and the chinese restaurants were the only restaurants to be open on christmas eve.

So do Jehovah’s Witnesses. When I was a member of the church, me and my cousin ate Chinese after JW church on Christmas. That was the day he met my future cousin in law.
