I was right there with him until he said “Abolish the Electroal College”.. I’ll chalk it up to good intentions but not enough thought....
That was the only thing that bothered me too - The Electoral College is part of the Constitution - we ain’t getting rid of the Constitution!
If everything else that he talks about was implemented, I could hand the electoral college being abolished..

The electoral college is the only thing keeping a so-so degree of honesty in our elections.

Ten thousand dittoes. Why did he say that? It was so out of whack that I spent the entire rest of the speech looking for other give-a-ways that signaled he wasn’t what he appeared to be.

I’m against term limits. They limit the choice of the people more than anything else. We already have the ultimate term limit: The voters can kick anyone out on election day.
Universal service is simply the antithesis of liberty. It’s an unnecessary evil.
Finally, the tea bag will never make it to the president or your congressman.
Yep, the largest 11 states can elect a president with the electoral college no matter how the other 39 vote. Without the electoral college, the 11 largest cities could realistically swing an election.
