We need to choose our words very carefully now... NO doubt Obama and his minions will use EVERYTHING that can even be remotely construed as a threat as an excuse to make Secret Service check us out... I have a very bad feeling that this will become routine for many Conservatives. While in total agreement with JR's warning against threats to Obambi & company, I must differ with the notion of mincing words and ideas that come nowhere CLOSE to "threatening," for fear of an investigation.

I say it should go the other way. They're gonna cry wolf no matter what we do. *shrug*

The sooner we refuse abbrogation of our natural rights, the less ground we'll have to recover once the pendulum swings. Let the reasonable men who deal with REAL life-and-death matters observe their foaming-at-the-mouth masters for what they are. Let 'em grow weary of chasing non-threats and being ordered by imbeciles to harass peaceable citizens - brothers and sisters who served under the same flag as they.

You make a very good point... I guess it’s up to each individual person to decide how to proceed at this point.

If you look over my posts in the last 48 hours alone you’ll see that along with cautionary advice I haven’t exactly been “polite” in regards to what is happening... I’m just not personally in a hurry to get myself on a list at this point is all, and people should be fully cognizant of the possible repercussions of their actions should they choose to “tread the line” so to speak... That’s all I was trying to say.

As far as mincing words and ideas that come nowhere close to actual threats — that’s a different story altogether. I didn’t mean to imply that I thought we should all be examining every sentence for a possible “misinterpretation”. So, actually we’re pretty much on the same page here. I probably should’ve chosen MY words in that post more carefully to clearly express my thinking! LOL
