The coward would not have a teleprompter to give him the answers. Now, the cat calls come in for dissing the press and going to Leno. Obama must address the issue, so he comes up with this lame excuse saying Gregory just is not like Russert (with an audible sigh). He's not the Force that Russet was (eyes get all misty). Then it should have been a walk in the park, Mr. Obama. But, taudience is not as big he whines. The audience is, of course, more informed on Meet The Press than Leno, Mr. Obama; so another reason for you to skip the informed viewers and go directly to your starry-eyed cult "Obama will take care of me pacifier-sucking-followers. Eventually, the snubbing of the press will come back to haunt the Great One, and some of his followers will eventually lose their pacifiers. You know how a baby will respond, if the pacifier goes missing! But then again, Obama probably assumes he already has the press that matters on his side--like daily briefings with his "personal press pal" - George Stephanopoulos.
If it twas really audience numbers he wanted, Mr. Obama should have booked a spot on American Idol.
"it-twas" sorry.

Somethings terribly wrong when the President goes on Jay Leno instead of a real show where real questions will be asked. Why? Because he doesn’t like hard questions. He’s a lightweight. How long til the rest of America wakes up to this fact? They will see him on Leno and love him because they are all still enjoying the bread and circuses.

Of course the man is an empty suit and an empty head. He cannot appear where he may have to think and reply off the cuff because he has nothing of his own to say.
He is really not capable of performing the duties of POTUS and is the perfect puppet for the Democratic party to implement its Communist agenda.

Eventually, the snubbing of the press will come back to haunt the Great One, I heard on the news this morning (local Fox affiliate) that the networks are griping about the money they lose when Obama commandeers them in prime time. I guess he has another Castro-rama scheduled for next Tuesday, IIRC.

After Leno it’s off for Captain Kangaroo, Romper Room and then a tough Q&A from Barney the dinosaur.

The Leno show tapes at 7:00PM Pacific and Meet the Press is live on Sunday morning and that conflicts with church....ah let's skip that excuse since they only used the church thing to get elected. (and that backfired)

” Gregory is terrifically polished, well-informed, a good listener and has the talking points of both sides down cold. But he also seems more intent on covering the waterfront than digging for news, or in pushing the talking heads off their talking points.”
~Head spins wildly while reading this~
So, IOW, Zero is going on Leno because Gregory can’t fill Russet’s shoes and is “more intent on covering the waterfront than digging for news, or in pushing the talking heads off their talking points.”
Oh sure. Leno is going to dig into the fine economic points and in the spirit of bipartisanship, find the truth.
Who the hell writes this stuff? Goebbels?

Well, uh, he is pre-empting American Idol, uh, next week.
No doubt the teleprompter will speak, take no questions, and depart.
