Collectivism is inherently linked with arbitrary authoritarianism.

Do you think we should be doing so much to support the arbitrary authoritarianism of the collectivist state of Israel?

From what I gather from Orthodox Jews, Israel has the same problem with rabid socialism/communism as we do...so your premise is a little sloppy.

Absolutely. Collectivism DOES work in one specific case - in a homogeneous society with shared values across the society. The Palis just want to invade this society because they see that it is so much more successful than their own.

The Bible calls for collectivism among Christians. Notice the referece to “of one heart and soul”:

Acts 4:32 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.

It will not work, though, when people have individual goals.

The goals of the collective inherently will collide with the goals of the individual, making arbitrary, deadly, coercive force necessary.
