I didn't want to give it away from the start, but it was too good to wait! Yes, you read correctly. FReepers occupy moonbat territory! Moonbats = NO SHOW. With half hour remaining, we unanimously voted that I should take advantage of the situation and secure moonbat territory. After noticing me turning left and right repeatedly to cover both directions of traffic, Mr. Trooprally later came over to raise his USA and USMC flag over the battlefield as a sign of VICTORY for our Troops. 1 occupier then 2 occupiers took control due to the moonbats' retreat. Maybe they cut and run to another location or changed their time, but there was no sign of them in their usual location at that time. I think some people driving by realized what was going on when they saw this strange occurrence of us being on the other side. Others probably thought we were moonbats even though our flags and signs showed support for our Troops as well as their mission. Whatever the case may be, we received our usual flurry of beeps, waves, thumbs up and the raise of a Navy cap by a passing driver.

Towards the end of our FReep/Rally, [Mr] T told me one of the moonbats drove by. It was Howard Stern look-alike. He gave us the peace sign and smiled. As we headed back across the street and wrapped up, PatrioticMarineMom pulled up to the curb and chatted with us. I told her she would have to wait for the AAR, but couldn’t leave her hanging. Just had to tell her how we occupied moonbat territory! She was happy about that but most of all, she was happy and proud to let us know that her son, Joshua will be returning home for a visit in 2 weeks! What an interesting and exciting day for all of us. Who knows what the last Saturday of March will bring, but for today, we declared VICTORY in Westminster!
2ND AND LAST SATURDAY 3-4:45pm
Please join us if you can. We especially need extra boots on the corner, on the 2nd and last Saturday of each month, when we counter protest the moonbats. The Westminster Gathering/FReep is located on the east side of E. Main Street opposite the library at 50 East Main Street. There is public parking on Winters Street. Follow the signs.
