Now, add the NASA ACTIVE engine system for thrust vectoring and you have the perfect 2nd war week air superiority fighter with the F-22 as the 1st war week system.

Ya
But Obama wants to pay illegals to build bridges to no where.
Obama does not want to spend money on military aircraft manufacturing.

Have to admit though, this thing is not so bad looking itself...

Weird, seeing an F-15 with angled vertical stabilizers. Helps with stealth, I imagine.

Even if it really “Fifth geberation”
What would it require in RDT&E $$?
Is it ready for production, or is it a one-off prototype?
How much has it been tested in realistic operational conditions?

Since ZERO is bent on wasting the investment to date in the F-22
and since our pilots are flying F-15s that have been used harder and longer than intended
and since our pilots sometimes worry more about the integrity of their aircraft than the enemy
forget export and let’s build them for US.
Oh, I forgot...no money for things we really need...just for glory roads, bailouts of millionaires, trinkets for the natives and PORK for POLITICIANS...AND CUTTING MEDICAL BENEFITS FOR TROOPS INJURED IN BATTLE!!!!

General Moseley should have started looking at the F-15SE option a few years ago when it became apparent the F-22 was just too expensive. But, he had myopia for one weapons system only (the F-22) and proposed cutting 40,000 Air Force Airmen to "pay" for it.
It really was a stupid decision, and when the nuke report came out, it was all over except for the headlines.
