The last time America elected a young President it was John F. Kennedy, age 44 when he took office.
The result was the Bay of Pigs fiasco involving an ill-fated invasion of Cuba to overthrow Fidel Castro and the decision to step in for the defeated French in Vietnam. Other comparable decisions were cut short by his assassination. We remember him mostly for his stirring inaugural speech, but his choice of Lyndon Johnson as his Vice President gave us the escalation of the Vietnam War and Great Society social spending that proved to be a waste of billions.
Now we have a President who is 47, a very young age to be running the greatest economic and military power in the world. He had, on taking office, already written two autobiographical memoirs, but people are slowly becoming aware of the fact that there is virtually no paper trail by which to measure him. His birth certificate and legal standing to be President are in dispute. Records from his college days are hidden from view.

...I honestly cannot believe that Obama is making “flawed” or “childish” decisions. It appears just the opposite; that the policy that Mr. Soetoro is putting into effect is quite calculated and agenda driven. “
True enough, but the Obamaloon is such a dolt that his calculations and agenda are still flawed and childish.
0bama is a man-child,
but those who feed his teleprompters are not.
They know exactly what they’re doing.
Everything B. Hussein does is orchestrated, the gaffs are when he’s trying to hide his true intent from us.
By the time Napoleon made himself emperor, he had won the Battles of Lodi, of Arcole, of Rivoli, of the Pyramids and of Marengo. And had promugulated the Napoleonic Code. He had yet to write a single autobiography.
Who cares? He read a teleprompter good.
Don’t forget the disasterous summit, the Berlin Wall, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Vietnam War. It was a busy two years and ten months.
Well said.
Do not fall for the illusion of incompetence.
This guy is charging HARD LEFT at TOP SPEED.
Just like everything in his background said he would.
Clinton was younger than Obama...so JFK wasn’t the last time.
“a very young age to be running the greatest economic and military power in the world”
Oh, but no worries — under The One, America will no longer occupy that lofty perch.
Watching this clown try to run the country is like watching Gollum wallpaper the front lawn.
At least Kennedy didn't pick a babbling fool for Vice President. This is probably the best insurance policy Obama could have picked.
Nothing wrong with a President under 50 for American if:
They are not a Socialist
They actually had accomplished something in life prior to being President
They were not a total idiot
I think you may be on to something.
Obama is merely a vessel, a mouthpiece, a salesman that enabled a leftist moonbat cabal to get access to the levers of power. The real “president” for all intents and purposes is Rahm Emmanuel with his merry band of moonbats within and without the administration.
This administration is truly bought and paid for with a photogenic Manchurian candidate at the helm for window dressing.
I hope you are wrong too but sadly I think you will be proven right. Hussien is leaving America open and defenseless and you can bet that our enemies will take advantage of it. Thousands of innocent people are going to die before people wake up and realize just who and what they voted for.
No paper trail indeed. Even ‘Dreams from my Father’ is someone else’s ‘trail’. But, for Obama. . .that’s what friends are for.
Sadly, I think some of them will go to their death insisting that it is all Bush’s fault and we just left the Messiah too big a mess to deal with.
No question ‘debt is empowerment’ for the one ‘owed’ - and it is the debtor who is enslaved. Soros Inc. know this; above all else and we now have a ‘Government’ who is insuring that every man, woman, child is a ‘debtor’ - and slave - to those whose greed for power, require citizen indenture.
