Natasha Richardson is in critical condition at a Montreal hospital after being severely injured in a skiing accident.
The British actress, a member of the Redgrave acting dynasty and the wife of Liam Neeson, reportedly suffered head trauma, although the extent of the damage is unknown.
Richardson, 45, was transferred to Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal at about 5 p.m. after initially being taken to entre Hospitalier Laurentien, which is close to the tony Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, per People. The accident was first reported by the news site IrishCentral.com.
Neeson and Richardson, who have been married since 1994, have two sons, Micheál Richard Antonio, 13, and Daniel Jack, 12.
must be real interesting dinners with mother in law Vanessa
Godspeed sounds very serious
What a shame. Hate to see two boys lose a mother, regardless of what her politics may or may not be.
I've skied since I was 3 - never a scratch. The first time I took my wife skiing, she separated her shoulder and broke her collar bone. Freak accidents happen. Let's pray for the best for Ms. Richardson.
Oh no- How awful! Prayers that she recovers.
Ditto that!! Prayers!
She was in the Handmaid’s Tale. Libs think it is about a right wing take-over. When I watch it I think 1984 and Animal Farm - right out of the controller’s handbook.
Hope she recovers. I thought Liam Neeson was a lifestyle lib.

Perhaps best known as the mother in "The Parent Trap" remake. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
blood everywhere and stitches galore
you had to be there when my dad showed up at St Vincent hospital in Santa Fe all the way from Nashville TN
fortunately I had elder Mississippi native kin living in Santa Fe and they were able to restrain him from furthering my injuries
ski binding came off as I was hail mary carreening down a black diamond at the top
on the ski patrol gurney ride down I kept noticing how everyone winced as they pulled me by
I’m sure he’s lib by our standards but he defended Taken from the PC crowd about Muzzies etc

Description: One of the better conservative actors out there, and his ability to range his performances is sadly underrated.

Prayers up for this lady.
Gosh, prayers up for her.
I still mourn Sonny Bono, taken from us in the same way. He had a marvelously straightforward way with words. I remember one radio interviewer saying, “Now, let’s talk about illegal aliens.” Sonny just said, “What’s to talk about? It’s illegal.”
Anyway, prayers up for a quick recovery from a ghastly accident.
Sounds like you had a yard sale up on that run. Several questions an inquiring mind wants to know:
1. What did you hit?
2. What did dad hit?
3. Did you finish school?
4. Have you skied since?
Prayers going up for Natasha and her family.

I like Nielson, he seems to be a good sort. I hope Ricardson recovers. Mount Tremblant can be very unforgiving, those who get injured there usually have a long recovery.
Prayers up for them all.
1) I hit my other ski at high speed...like Buster Keaton but not funny
2) Dad was pissed but recovered.
3) Yep...1980 Ole Miss
4) Yes....still do rarely...usually to fetch my kids...I hate falling now...too many old wounds....my girls skied and now the boys do too....we have a family home at Grandfather MT NC and my middle boys are out of grade school for spring break and we leave in the morning and they will make a few runs this week at Sugar Mt....still skiing with decent base 100% open...I have business there too
btw...look at my pic
I ain’t Franz Klammer anymore if u know what I mean
she was very beautiful in The Parent Trap... i didn't know she was married to Liam Neeson...
Mine is very comfortable, warm and holds my goggles in place. I haven't impact tested it, except for a glancing blow that would have probably cost me some stitches.
I started my 6 year old this year and he was really excited to go buy his helmet. He wanted one just like Dad's, and wears it a lot when he is playing around the house. Now I spend a lot of time on the slope screaming "Slow Down" while I ski high cover to protect him from snow boarders.
It’s a good thing you survived your ski accident; otherwise your beautiful family wouldn’t exist!
i remember that coast to coast had a guest that believed sonny was murdered.
