I just received an invitation in the mail from the VA in Baton Rouge. As an OIF/OEF Veteran I ahve been invited to a focus group on the 20th and you better believe I will be there and this will be the ONLY topic I plan to discuss. I am sure I will face opposition and may even be disenvited but it is my duty as part of the oath I swore to my country. I have had nothing but great service from the VA and I hope they will hear what I have to say.

Good luck. Hopefully you can set some of the moonbat vets straight.

Update...I went to the focus group and the turn out was so big they had to move us to a larger room. I brought up the issue about Obama wanting vets to pay for service connected injuries with private insurance and the response was interesting. The VA rep told me that the bill had not passed and I asked her if it was still being considered and she couldn’t give me a straight answer. One of the other vets in the room had just finished a town hall type meeting with Senator Vitter who said he could not rule out the possibility they dems will try to pass the proposal again. I am not quoting Sen Vitter because I wasn’t there to hear his comment. I assume he is cautioning all veterans to keep our eyes on the situation and that they might try to sneak it through in the dead of night.
