WASHINGTON (AP) Neither Superman nor the Republican Party has to worry about Rush Limbaugh not if Dick Cheney is right.
The former vice president says he disagrees with those who say the radio talk-show host is "kryptonite" for the GOP.
That's the assessment of former Bush administration speechwriter David Frum, who contends that Limbaugh drives voters away from the Republican Party.
Cheney calls Limbaugh "a good friend" who does great work and serves an important purpose.

We miss you, Mr. Cheney.
It’s a shame he wasn’t president..
I wish he’d invite Frum to come out hunting...
Lynn is such a lucky woman. (Sigh!!)
Well, in that the currently diseased GOP is very inconsistently conservative, I would say that no, Rush Limbaugh is very bad for the Republican party.
And that, is a good thing.
If he can’t be in D.C., I’m sure glad to have Mr. Cheney back here in Wyoming. :-)
“a good friend” who does great work and serves an important purpose.”
The former veep must have been feeling particualrly verbose that day.
I love his interviews;
“Yes.”
“No.”
“We disagreed on that.”
“That’s correct.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
Now there is a real man.
I agree, he should have been our president..then and now.
Our Che trumps their Che.
I heard the VP has bought a house in northern VA...
I respect the opinion of a man who gives Cheney proportions to charity while the thieves on the left persecute him. He’s the type of guy who would know what Limbaugh is all about. Losers like Frum would be pariahs in a functional, winning, Republican Party, and I hope we see that kind of party before the losers set us up for another loss.
All “business” with the jihadists would have been finished if he were calling the shots, and the Obamanation would not be occupying the presidential residence..
Wow, I haven’t heard anything from/about Mr. Cheney for a long while.
Is there an easy way to get updates/news about them, besides actively searching?
Dick Cheney for RNC Chair (I know, wishful thinking).
Cheney. One of the few LEADERS who has guts.
Sigh ...
Naturally Mr. Cheney would say that. Only girly-men feel threatened by Rush Limbaugh.
Hell, I'd pay to see that.
