Looks good. Ack, I wish the birth certificate people hadn’t been there. I totally respect their right to protest, but they have to realize how they are perceived by most Americans. I hope people (or the media) don’t latch onto their presence at the protest and conclude that everyone there was a nut.

I saw a report on this on channel 12 and the reporter made it sound like she and another reporter had to flee because some members of the crowd were causing them problems. Any details on what happened? I suspect that was a huge exaggeration, but I want to know the details.

Well, why hasn't he produced a birth certificate. If you were him would you be spending millions fighting it or just show a damn birth certificate? Don't you think there is a little something to the story? Maybe Obama isn't his name? Maybe it is Marshall? Or...maybe he wasn't born in Hawaii? One person who knows is the President of the United States. I don't think they are nuts and I know I am not a nut. It is just very strange that he could have ended it all right away but chose to fight it. I think you all are nuts if you think there is absolutely nothing to the story.

I was there and that’s a laugh. There were no television cameras for most of the event, which was remarked upon by several of the speakers. Evidently, many people called the TV stations to ask why it wasn’t being covered and the station personnel complained that they were getting too many calls! Eventually some TV cameras appeared on sight and when they did they weren’t harrassed, people cheered in the hope that there would be coverage on the news. Instead, the cameras sought out the lone 0bama drone (and tried to portray them as alone and harrassed).

From what I heard on other news was that some of the protestors were telling Channel 12's people that the media were part of the problem, and they got scared.

They are part of the problem, but I don't know if channel 12 made too big of a deal out of it so they could report that they were harrassed.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was their game plan. To portray the Conservative protestors as even whackier than the scumbag leftist protestors who cover their faces and destroy property.

Tea parties are happening because the private sector has finally been awakened to the fact that it is the DECLARED ENEMY of government tax and regulatory policy!

The battle lines are hereby drawn. Though those who perceive their bread to be buttered by government may exceed the numbers of those who actually produce the wealth, the private sector still has a fighting chance.

I'm going to the tea party in DC on the 15th of April. Gotta think of a good message for my sign....

Drudge byline showed as 10000 attendance. That’s a start. My opposition isn’t to demonstrations but to poor planning, latch-ons by third rate media personalities and lack of coordination between cities.
For my criticisms, I get attacked personally, the ol’ “noob” what do you know tops among them. I can only think they are actually among the liberal provocateurs among the membership as they are reluctance to make even the mildest complaint against our ideological adversaries.
Congratulations on a job well down. Now, if you can only get the media to pay attention as they did to the 50000 deadbeats and union workers who marched on city hall in NYC to protest for socialized health care.

I personally know at least two people who were there and they said the media was ignoring the event.

I saw the reporter on Channel 12 talk more about her uneasiness than the actual protest.

I believe every criticism of Obama is being spun as racist by the mass media. The media were, and still are, Obama cheerleaders.

I didn’t say they were nuts, but they are perceived as nuts - unlike people who just don’t want to pay their neighbor’s mortgage. I just think it’s important to keep the two separate.

YOU are part of the problem, when you turn your back on legitimate issues that your fellow Conservatives raise and want addressed.

My favorite signs:

"Carter is not the worst president anymore" and (held by adorable little girl) "Where's my free pony?".

I was talking with someone at work who was standing by the channel 12 and channel 9 reporters and nobody threatened them or spit on them. This was entirely fabricated by Channels 9 and 12.

They were following the sole Obama supporter around after she had broken through the perimeter fence the police put up and then proceeded to heckle a crowd of 5000 non-Obama supporters. Obviously, she was asking for backlash, which people were heckling her back, but there were no threats of any sort.

Channel 9 then proceeded to follow her with the camera in her face trying to interview her and people in the crowd started shouting: “Liberal Media” and kept on and kept on and then they packed up and left because they were unable to obtain the interview without hearing what the crowd was saying.

Channel 9 and Channel 12 made it very clear that they came to interview the opposition rather than what the rally was really about.

i am glad everyone liked my pics!
it was indeed a FANTASTIC day.
also, kerbear413 is correct - i was standing next to the media the entire (short) time they were there - no threats and no spitting. disgusting to say otherwise.
i will be taking lots of pics at the rally on 4/15 as well. :-)
