Happy St Patrick's day, Dustoff45...thanks for the added information. Those patches are units FReepers were attached to....dumb me didn't add the names to which is which.

Well, mark me down for the 498th Med. Co. (Air Amb), [1st tour, best year of my life],

and then add 196th ASHC (Assault Support Helicopter Company) {Ch-47s)

The first patch is a little sick, but is an early version, the second patch is hard to read but reflects better the patch I wore. 2nd Tour I was able to keep my number and became Flipper 45.

I look at our kids today and reflect back at what young people did during 'Nam, Korea, and WWII and I know with leadership and encouragement they could be doing so much more.
