Not fun at all....did Saturday finally end on an up note?
“mandated digital cable boxes”....did you get the ones we could send away for, the $40 off ones? I got 2 of those. Never was able to make one work. It didn’t tell me I had to have an indoor antenna. Got one of those, but it still won’t work. I’ve given up. I got my folks a cable box....$5.99/mo. Problem solved and lots of channels!

Oh my gosh.....Sand, what a nightmare with the TiVo stuff. This so called upgrade is sure causing alot of issues. Maybe they are counting on everyone needing a professional to hook stuff up.

That sounds about how our cable system works, with the DVR box $14/mo. When I had my folks box installed, there was no charge because he didn’t have to drill. I’ve always been impressed with how well they make sure things are tidy.
I hope you are finally done and everything is working properly and in alignment.
