(IsraelNN.com) The Obama governments thinking that Arab-Israeli peace is the key to Mideast stability is bad news for Israel - and for America," former United States Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton wrote in the New York Post on Friday
Bolton said that President Barack Obama and his advisors have adopted the theory that the overwhelming bulk of other Middle Eastern grievances, wholly or partly, stem from Israel's founding and continued existence.
He based his argument on the appointment of George C. Mitchell as the special U.S. envoy to the Middle East and statements by United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the two-state solution should be put into place sooner rather than later.
Naming Mitchell as the representative of the president and not of the secretary of state underlines both the issue's priority in the president's eyes and the implicit idea it can be solved in the foreseeable future, according to Bolton.
He questioned Mitchell and President Obamas desire to force an Israeli-PA agreement as a basis for further progress.
Bolton charged Secretary Clinton with taking a very European view" in a statement that a new Arab country within Israels current borders is inescapable.
Accordingly, the Obama administration has created a negotiating dynamic that puts increasing pressure on Israel, Palestinians, Syria and others. Bolton wrote.

He is, in fact he's bad news for lots of folk.
Read the book “As America has done to Israel”
Yes, I would say he’s pretty much bad news across the board.
Just posted this on another thread.
I don't think he's anti-Israel, he's probably pro-palestinian on balance, and essentially clueless when it comes to foreign affairs. Hillary is a bit better, but not much. My impression is that Israel, like most of Europe, considers him a world class lightweight. Humorous in Western Europe, a thread to Israel, and to some extent to our eastern Europe allies, who wouldn't mind a missle shield. I hope not, but I fear that Israel and the palestinians may be the least of his foreign policy problems.Anyone for Soviet, sorry Russian, bases in the hemisphere?
Israel has support amongst the American people, across party lines, and I suspect a reality based government. The One's policies toward Israel are the least of our worries.
The belief that all the parties to the conflict want peace is the root of this problem.
Elections have consequences.
The list, ping
IMO the Obama administration is anti-Israel in general while outwardly projecting their support for it. Its a ruse, a charade and a sham. And if Israel buys into this deception, they will deserve whatever happens to it.

Yes, as well as actions and decisions. Sometimes.../P>

Exsqueeze me but historically speaking that is correct. And it's not a 'theory', European or otherwise. Sephardi Jews lived in peace with Muslims for centuries. In fact, Sephardi Jews aided the Muslim Moors with the invasion of Spain (you can look that up).
And this was not an isolated incident. From Spain throughout Northern Africa they lived in peace with each other. Plus, 'Israeli' Jews lived in peace with the Muslims during the rule of the Ottoman Empire. It wasn't until 1948 and the U.N.'s creation of 'Israel' that the fighting started.
I'm not defending Barry or Hillary but history is history: Jews and Muslims lived in peace with each other for centuries. You can't change that fact because you don't like it now.
As in, murder them all, down to the last child; wipe the Jews off of the face of Europe
Oh, thats right. They already did that.
LOL! Captain obvious to the rescue!
Thats because the mussies were the masters then who had conquered the entire region by force of arms and beaten them into submission.
Now that the Jews have left the plantation and demanded equality in this world of Nations, all bets are off and its kill the bastard Jew dogs again.
That peace is the peace of slaves and their masters.
“Exsqueeze me but historically speaking that is correct.”
Let’s be accurate here. The Muslim grievances come from their inherent anti-Israel hatred which has persisted from the beginning, throughout times of peace and war.
Kudos to John Bolton for speaking out against Obama-Mitchell-HRC, to the NY Post for printing Bolton’s piece, and to Arutz Sheva for telling folks in Israel about Bolton’s views.
Thanks for the ping!
Hussein has had agents shuttling to Iran, Syria, Hamas.Assuring the Palestinian activist "I know I haven't done enough lately but I'm in a campaign."
Dining with Said, appointing Freeman.
Michelle who "grew up in Jesse Jackson's house"--"Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades"--"decades of putting Israel's interests first"--Thanks for the Rossetta Stone, Jesse.
And that was some other Hussein who campaigned for Raila Odinga.
Hussein anti-Israel?
Shocking revelation.
and Freeman goes out like all liberal leftists, whining and moaning like a spoiled child, not with the dignity of a man.
