We have many forms of electronics to listen and monitor the airwaves and such as icom all mode transceivers in vehicles and home, aor scanners, etc etc ....... yet in times of emergency or goobermint cracking down on such sharing of info we will transmit only in emergencies or using packet etc . after watching Katrina fiasco we decided that such as sat tv and radio were good additions to the home , motorhome and our vehicles with a tracker antenna added to our road trip suburban. Information is golden to avoid trouble !
