Obviously, the whole concept of government making people volunteer is an oxymoron. "Volunteer," by definition, means no coercion and no penalty if the act is not performed.
Seems like we have a case of Orwell's fiction possibly becoming reality in the US.
I said it earlier on this thread, or possibly a thread on the same subject, but worth repeating as I know many of you do and feel the same:
My voluntary service to others is through the church of my God. I love my fellow man, and will give my service to him, but through my love of God. I did my service to my country through the Corps, and swore my allegiance to The Constitution, during times of voluntary service.
I did this for love of God, love of Country and love of Family. Unless times of war, and only if all other means have been exhausted, no man or woman shall be forced to serve in any manner they choose not to - this is called SLAVERY and must be resisted and put down at all cost.
