.... triggering a sharp reaction from Democrats who accused him of "questioning President Obama's citizenship." I wish someone would ask me whether I questioned Obama's citizenship.

Democrats who accused him of "questioning President Obama's citizenship. And they can end all this by producing a Birth Certificate. Why don't they?

"Obama produced a certified copy of his birth certificate from the Hawaii Department of Health, but critics argued that it was a fake or had been altered. "
A "certificate of live birth" is not a "birth certificate" of a natural born American. This has already been discussed ad nauseum for anyone who cared to listen.
IF the state of "Hawaii" issued CommieBama the COLB to post on the internet, AND, if it is real, THEN why has the Governor of Hawaii SEALED it? We've already seen it, HAVEN'T WE?
This whole citizenship thing stinks to high heaven of fraud, and treason. I hope it comes raining down and takes everyone involved in the coverup with it, including the Governor of Hawaii.
The dems tried their best to throw Bush out as an "illegal winner" of the election, even though the dems were caught several times trying to rig the election and double count hanging "chads". The difference is, Bush's win is provable and documented...also declared by both the Florida and Federal Supremes.
Obama posts a COLB that could have been produced in Microsoft Word, and everyone is shivering in their EEO boots about questioning it.
I guess we used up all of our civilian heroes in the Civil War.

Obama produced a certified copy of his birth certificate from the Hawaii Department of Health...I stopped reading there. As I understand it, Obama produced an electronic copy of a Certificate of Live Birth, which is apparently different from a Birth Certificate, in spite of the similarity in names.

“Opponents of President Obama are raising the birth certificate issue as a means of questioning his eligibility to serve as president. Neither of these situations are healthy for our Republic.”
But it’s healthy for America to sustain all the harm he’s doing to our country? The Dems have pulled a fast one of the American people and no one can’t do anything about it.

If obama has any integrity, he'll release the document and put the matter to rest. It is a distraction from current business while making everything obama says, does or sign legally questionable.
If he's not Constitutionally qualified, are the things he signs law of the land? Is the military legally required to follow his orders?
I suppose if you are a partisan, you can easily feel justified demonizing anyone who calls obama's eligibility into question, but wouldn't you simply like this to go away? Wouldn't you like him to slap down all those who keep raising this question??? He could use the victory right about now.
There is one person who can make this go away and silence those who won't let this go, but he won't. Why is that? Maybe it is because he has something to hide.

ome people mostly Republicans questioned whether Obama, who was born in Hawaii, was a U.S. citizen. Obama's mother was a U.S. citizen, while his father was from Kenya. Obama produced a certified copy of his birth certificate from the Hawaii Department of Health, but critics argued that it was a fake or had been altered. So many lies/distortions in two sentence.
First, Obama never produced a certified copy of anything. He posted an image of something, and then showed, and allowed to be photographed, something, but only to his Annenberg buddies.
Second, many are not questioning his citizenship, just his "natural born" status, due to his father being a non-citizen, and in fact never being even becoming a citizen, like Chester Arthur's father did, but only when Arther was 14, not before he was born, in Vermont.
Third, while "mostly Republicans" may be true, the most prominent, and one the earliest challenges, is Hillary Democrat Berg.
Still, I'm amazed that CNN would even admit that there is controversy over the matter.

...it's remarkably free of name calling. That may be true, it's still full of the usual lies regarding the facts that we've come to expect from CNN and the entire lefty media.
Obama, who was born in Hawaii...
Notice how matter-of-factly that is stated by the CNN lackey Preston. Well, if that fact is so obvious, where the heck is his bona fide Hawaii birth certificate to prove it?!!! That's exactly the problem that Cong. Posey's bill is intended to address - and the 'Rats know it!
To: AJMCQ
Even though I think the birther conspiracy theories are foolish, I think this is a good bill.

Here is
Gov (commerce secretary elect)Bill Richardson saying in Spanish that Obama is an "immigrant." (So he understands understands "immigrant" issues.)The context suggests that by "immigrant" bill richardson means "illegal immigrant"
Here in plain English is the
Kenyan Ambassador saying that Obama is born in Kenya.
Obama's own flacks deny that obama was born in Kenya but do acknowledge that he had a dual citizenship up until 1982
from obama's own site factcheck.org by way of fightthesmears
on his dual citizenship at birth
When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdoms dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.
Someone will want to cache the above web page because it will be taken down eventually.
It is well established that Obama did travel to Indonesia and Pakistan in 1981. In a tape of his speech at this April 6, 2008 San Francisco Fundraiser,
Obama discloses his trip to Pakistan (40:17) when he was in college. On what passport did he travel?

my response would be...if the shoe fits.....
in most places, voters must show ID (rightly so), so WHY shouldn’t the person who would hold the highest position in our country show proof of who he or she is???
