So you think prison justice doesn’t take place?
Indeed.
There's a Bill Kurtis "Cold Case File" episode featuring an innocent man, Kevin Green, wrongly accused & convicted of murdering his wife and their near term fetus. A website quotes him on his life in San Quentin:
In the link above, Kevin goes on to explain how he barely escaped having been set up to be whacked by five fellow inmates. This incident, and the prison treatment of child killers/molesters is referenced in the TV show.
BTW, the real perp was eventually caught and Kevin L. Green walked a free man after 16 years.
That's a total injustice. I am so sorry for your loss. I've been looking at child abuse threads on FR today because of the Duke child rape case that came up last week. Different situation; same disregard for the soul of a child.
Praying that God will reveal to you a greater purpose for your little grandboy's life, and also for your daughter and family, in Jesus' name.
Where is his obama shirt mug shot?
There are several documented cases...
But usually child killers/molesters are kept separate from the general prison population.
So a policy of strict racism when it comes to prosecution of criminals/investigations is the way to go? Arguing with people like you is like winnning the Special Olympics...even if you do win, youre still retarded.
There was nothing in his remark about prosecuting people according to race -- I believe he was talking about compatibility in a domestic relationship. When I read the name "Rachel Goodman", I immediately thought "Jewish name"; but the child murderer was African-American (as shown his photo at the link). Most African-Americans are of Christian or muslim background -- that right there is reason enough for someone to say, "What is she doing with him, or he doing with her?" The point is the compatibility of the couple based on religious background, which would make for a happier home where child murder would be less likely to happen.
Secondly, she has a classical name, Rachel, that has been recorded for more than 5,000 years, and her daughter's name, Liliana, is from a Latinate European language and indicates a level of cultural learning. The male has a made-up name, or a made-up spelling of a name, in the style associated with relatively uneducated African-Americans in the past 25-30 years. That also indicates a difference in their backgrounds or education that would make their relationship difficult in terms of social status, and possibly contributing resentment or rage. Again, it has little to do with race and everything to do with the severity of the challenges or risks undertaken by the individuals who are living together with a small vulnerable child.
It is not against any law in the U.S. for persons of widely different backgrounds to live together. However, there is a higher risk of the couple fighting and of danger to children when people live together unmarried and with very little basis to understand and appreciate each other, an possible non-acceptance by relatives who ordinarily would want to help a kin child. One of the greatest dangers to children from domestic violence is from an unrelated adult living in the home with children from a previous relationship, particularly mommy's boyfriend. This is a statistical fact.
Household Composition and Risk of Fatal Child Maltreatment
And lastly, may I point out to you with all due respect that calling someone a "retard" is the same as making a racist remark. So if you want respect for your opinions about racism, try showing it to others.
The gross number of prisoners in your statistics included federal, state and local jail prisoners, compared to all murders of prisoners. Your gross number is not broken down into convicts vs. accused, felonies vs. misdemeanors, or criminal convictions vs. civil convictions. In actuality, convicted child murderers/rapists would be more likely to be clustered in federal prison with other criminal felons, which would increase the likelihood and percentage of those murdered in prison substantially.
There are lies, damned lies, and statistics.
You are so right about the myth about how child molesters / killers are treated in prison. Prisons have changed, and so have levels of PC (protective custody). In prison, murders are honored (highest level of respect among inmates), and “baby rapers/killers” are the lowest, but they find other ways to control / scare / intimidate them other than raping / beating them, which gets inmates sent to “the hole” (administrative segregation). They will taunt, blackmail, steal from, scare, etc. without laying one finger on another inmate. It can be just as frightening and humiliating, with the need to survive in prison. Just the THREAT of being raped or stabbed in there can keep certain prisoners under the control of other inmates. CO’s (correctional officers) usually look the other way when such behavior goes on. THAT is the reality in prisons (federal and state).
I remember reading years ago that child murderers/rapists are often killed in prison, and it probably was a more common practice in the past. Whether there was true moral outrage or just a rationale for the pecking order as an outlet for additional violence, we may never know. We are probably seeing less of this phenomenon lately due to the rise of the ACLU's radical "prisoner rights" lawsuits and the 24/7 video monitoring in prisons, as well as the radical fragmentation of religious (muslim) and racial pride groups (blacks, hispanics, arabs, whites) in prisons. Hurt one, incur the wrath of the rest, no matter what the reason.
Forgive me; I just read one of your later posts indicating that the perp was not your son, but a woman. I am so sorry.
Give me 5 seconds and a loaded gun with this son of a bitch.
MTV
12 years!?!?!?!? I am not sure if I would be able to type that out as calmly as you appeared to have done.
