Air Force has the smartest guys and they have a HUGE head start over any other service.

This, from an Army guy.
It must be The End Times ;)

I’ve believed for years that we should do away with the current system of four military branches. One service - The United States Armed Forces. All aviators should belong to the Air Branch...all soldiers to the Ground branch... and all boats and ships to the Naval Branch, all special operations types to the Special Operations Branch, and what the hell, a Cyber Warfare branch. One uniform, one centralized logistics branch, and ease of movement back and forth in “branch immaterial” positions.

It’ll never happen, of course, but I can dream.

I can just imagine boot camp for the US Cyberforce...

"What's the UNIX code for a remote server shutdown, Maggot?"

It'd also be the only one of the uniformed services that wouldn't have a physical training standard. I just can't imagine pudgy little geeks doing push ups and chin ups.

There is a pretty darn big agency, the Defense Information Systems Agency, that should be the lead in this.

They already exist and spend lots of money so why not do the “Information Systems” thingy that is already in their name?
