My beloved Heather hit the wall (hard) in the last couple of years. Her plastic surgeon should be strung up. Thank goodness for Netflix. Was trying to watch the first five seasons of Dynasty/Heather/Pamela Sue before the baseball season started. Put Seaon 4 in the Queue and it’s not being released until 4/7/09. The bastids!
Not aytall bad, if I may say so.
BTW...my dad was a tail gunner on a B-24.
That 24 was one workhorse of a BUFF -- did one helluva great job.
But, I'll tell you one thing -- I'sm sure glad I didn't fly in them. Too high,too slow,and the missions were too long to have to put up with rubber-smelling oxygen while at altitude. Those masks stank to high heaven.
If your Dad is still with us, please give him my salute and best wishes. I was very happy in my A-20s and A-26s -- fast, flew darned near like a fighter, were heavily armed, and could take a real beating -- as still get you home. I had my fun with the Ninth Air Force in Europe.
PS -- What Theater of Operations did your Dad fly in -- Asia, Europe, Africa????????
