I don’t believe they chose the dog over their own son, they chose THEMSELVES over the boy. Ever had a flea infestation? The bite EVERYONE, not just the dog. If nothing else, take the kids to a Shriner’s Hospital. They NEVER turn ANY child away for ANY reason. And 100% of the money they collect goes to the hospital. I always give at least $20 to them.
OY. You are SO missing the point, sir. Your point actually makes my case. However, I would agree with you that they chose THEMSELVES above all else. That is where I think you hit the nail on the head.
Or St. Judes. They do wonders with childhood cancer and will help those who can’t pay for treatment.
OTH, trying to compare flea treating a dog with the cost of cancer treatment is ridiculous and not worthy of FReepers. We should be concentrating on the fact they didn't try to seek help from the many foundations that do Pro Bono treatment of Children(not socialized medicine).
