SPEAKERS TO BE ANNOUNCED |
I thought you'd be interested in an update:
Dom Giordano, who's the only credibly conservative local talk radio host (WPHT, 1210 AM), has agreed to speak at the rally.
We got a response from one of the economists who signed the Cato Institute letter to President Obama, responded to us. He has a previous engagement and can't speak at the rally.
We've asked him if he would write up a statement that we could read on his behalf- we'll see how that plays out. Since things are in flux we're not naming him at the present time.
We're also talking with other people; but we're not gonna play the "scheduled to appear" games that the motivational speakers use when they're still negotiating with notable persons regarding an appearance.
We've got flyers in .pdf format (see below) that people can download and put up, and the artist who did the graphic for us has merchandising sites at SpreadShirt and CafePress. All proceeds go to him, as he did the artwork for free.
From Connary Fagen, who did the Philadelphia Tea Party II logo art:

T-shirts are all available at Spreadshirt:

Spreadshirt tends to not only be higher quality, but they are more affordable than CafePress as well.
Mugs and stickers, which Spreadshirt can't do:

Don't forget to download and distribute the flyer for Philly Tea Party II:

I don’t know anything about him. Can you enlighten me?
Would you mind fixing the garbled HERF :-) tag at the bottom of the post, preceding “Philadelphia Tea Party II - April 18, 2009”?
Thnak you.
Herb Denenberg is a former Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commissioner, and professor at the Wharton School. He is a longtime Philadelphia journalist and consumer advocate. He is also a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of the Sciences. His column appears daily in The Bulletin. He used to do a feature on Channel 10 in Philadelphia called Denenbergs Dump and he also had a radio show on 1210.
I’ve posted loads of his great conservative articles here at FR. You can view some of them at http://www.thebulletin.us/herb_denenberg/
Thanks, I looked him up and it rang bells. I think Dom has interviewed him before, or else he’s filled in for somebody.
Tried to fix the links, but they require a sign-on. If you give me different links, I can drop them into the thread.
That's all I was asking for.
I didn't realize you can't download the .pdf from the group since I'm a member and apparently am "cookied in".
If anybody wants the .pdf of the flyer and doesn't want to join the Yahoo group, just email me and I'll send it to them until I can talk to the owner and see what he says about opening up access...
I don't own the Yahoo group so I can't change access. I will discuss it with
Dom Giordano would be great, so would Herb Dennenburg.
pinging for later reading and have put the link out to my Pa. friends.
If they haven’t joined the Yahoo group

please ask them to do so.
Your guy’s up now!
I just got in.
What abb is referring to is the fact that Chris Clemency got interviewed by Roger Hedgecock on his XM radio show.
Tell Chris for me that his referring to Roger as Mr. Hedgecock was very respectful. Came across really classy.
Tell him yourself; he’s a Freeper now, albeit a newbie.
See this thread. Wildcat Tea Party in Columbia, MO that wasn’t on the radar! Plus updates.

He’s been sent an invitation to speak.
