Isn’t the National Guard allowed to come in and assist where needed, or does that need to come from the Governor

That was my understanding. And I didn’t think NG stayed on post read to roll 100% of the time. They’d have to be woken up just like day shift.

National Guard are under the Governor of the State. Other State’s National Guards have to have permission directly from the Governor in order to operate in the State.

That’s my understanding at least.
