NEW YORK, March 10 (UPI) -- Meghan McCain, daughter of 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, said she was just offering her opinion when she criticized commentator Ann Coulter.
McCain, 24, who writes a blog for the Web site The Daily Beast, said the conservative Coulter is "offensive," "insulting" and "confusing."
"It's not meant to be mean or nasty, it's just my perspective," she told "Inside Edition" of her remarks.

Ann Coulter and I probably don't disagree on very many things, however I do find her very abrasive. I don't think she is a good spokeswoman for the conservative movement. I just don't like her style. Also, she should learn to eat a meal now and then she is WAY too thin.
Meghan McCain strikes me as someone who is not politically savvy. However she is pretty, intelligent, rich, and has access to free beer. Not a bad combination.

Sound like little McMeghan is backing off in view of criticism received from her intemperate slam of Ann. And probably Daddy McDearest told her to pretend to be sorry in one of his infrequent flashes of political clarity.
Too bad, Valley Girl....we'll always remember you for this and your utter stupidity when you fell out of the cozy Arizona nest and ventured to stick your bejeweled little toesy into big league politics. Remember, you said what you said.

Why did this little twit have to go endorsing Jindal? Seriously that makes me think twice about the guy.

Miss McCains comments were uneducated, rude, wrong-headed and plain stupid I agree. I don't mean to be mean or nasty, it's just my perspective.

I don’t like to listen to Ann either. She has a “look down her nose at the little people” sounding voice. But I do love to read much of her writing. I confess that I have never read her books. But she has a way with words. She twists the knife just right. LOL She’s good. She’s really good.

You are correct, the best advise she can be given is, pick your battles honey.
