NEW YORK (AP) - The new White House director of urban affairs hired an architect for his own home at the same time that a project the architect was working on was up for approval by his office.
Former Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, tapped by President Obama last month to head the Office on Urban Policy, hired architect Hugo Subotovsky in 2006 to design a renovation for his two-family house.
Subotovsky was part of a team seeking approval of a development called Boricua Village that included a 14-story college building and 679 units of housing. Carrion recommended approval of the project in 2007, and it then went to the city Planning Commission.

there is just something about having a name that means “rotting corpse” being the directer of the Office of Urban Policy. . .
Given the condition of liberal inner cities, his name matches perfectly.
[The man who is President Obama’s newly minted urban czar pocketed thousands of dollars in campaign cash from city developers whose projects he approved or funded with taxpayers’ money, a Daily News probe found.]
Oh boy!....just great!...The American taxpayer is doing home improvement for O’Bozo’s clown buddies!.....
Just another inner city bottom feeder being drug out of the muck by Zero.
is there any other kind of Democrat? I mean honestly . . .
Have you heard about Rahmbo’s house in Illinois?
That bass turd hasn’t paid ANY property taxes on it because he and his wife have declared it to be the office of their own charitable organization.
He gave a “donation” to the private school where his kids go and, voila, they got free tuition. Basically, he got his kids’ tuition to be a tax deduction.
And the tax evasion goes on.
It’s all legal under Illinois law and as such nothing will be done about it. The Chicago Way, just have to admire it! /sarcasm
