Senate Democrats are expected to win over just enough Republicans to move forward on a controversial $410 billion spending bill....
But it may come as no surprise that almost all of the Republican senators who are either expected to support the bill or are considering supporting the bill have billions of dollars worth of earmarks in the package.....

Hey, here’s a great idea: let’s go line-by-line thru the federal budget and eliminate wasteful earmarks...
Let me guess, the same cast of evildoers - Specter, Collins, Snowe, Murkowski, possibly with assists from Lugar, Martinez, Voinovich, and McCain?
Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., $114 million
Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., $76 million
Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., $86 million
Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska $74 million
Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa $25 million (no surprise)
Sen. Olympia Snowe RINO $0 (doesn’t even need to be bought)
With Republicans like this, who needs Democrats?
I just called Bond’s office and lodged my strong disagreement. Not that it will accomplish anything!
Shelby? Sheesh, what’re Senate GOPers coming to?
Kit Bond retiring.
But she did whine when she heard that the RNC will not help buy her next election.

These idiot RINOs are signing their own........but they will be greatly rewarded by the socialist.

I couldn’t get through to the Washington office. Busy, then no answer later.
Called the Springfield office and sent two e-mails.
Politicians and prostitutes. They have a lot in common.
And we all get screwed.
They all voted to insert e-verify in the Omnibus, but after Dems voted the e-verify amendment down, don't care enough about e-verify to withhold their votes until they put it back in the bill.
“Politicians and prostitutes. They have a lot in common.”
Yeah, but hookers are cheaper and you get something in return.
