Another day, another round in the battle between Jim Cramer and Jon Stewart. Lets do a quick recap before proceeding to todays skirmish. As reported here, last week on Today Cramer accused Pres. Obama of the the greatest wealth destruction Ive seen by a president. In retaliation, Jon Stewart, playing the good Obama foot soldier, has tried to undermine Cramers credibility by playing clips on the Daily Show of Cramers less-than-spot-on stock recommendations. Cramer has fired back, including in this lengthy column.
OK, stage set. With Cramer and fellow CNBCer Erin Burnett as guests this morning, Meredith Vieira observed that Warren Buffett had said the economy has fallen off a cliff. Cramer joshed that the Obama admin should attack Buffett as they had the little guys, a reference to himself and the way White House press secretary Robert Gibbs had gone after him. It was Merediths response that really touched things off . . .

Once there was a mafia neighborhood. The mobsters preyed on vulnerable, immoral or stupid people to induct them into criminal activities. They threatened the good neighbors and played dirty tricks on them to keep them from informing the police. One by one, all the good people moved away. Now, the mobsters have no one left to shoot but one another.

WTH? Jon Stewart is a Comedian. Conflation of "comedy" and "news". (Well the MSM news are already a joke.)

Should Al Franken become a US Senator, Stewart has the perfect qualifications to be his chief of staff.

Cramer is trying to get on the celebrity's train that obammma has put Rush on with hopes of boost his ratings. It probably won't work because Rush has a message of truth and Cramer has an dart board. As to stewart, he's sooo funny(not)it's a shame the MTV generation get their news from the likes of him.

from the blog......"But
Stewart chose to single out Cramer because he had the audacity to criticize Obama. So lets give this round to Cramerwhile awarding a junior Robert Gibbs badge to Jon."
The salient issue.

This is another example of the MSM planting the seeds of their own destruction. When Stewart had Bush and a GOP congress to mock every night, the press decided to give him undeserved credibility as a “real” journalist, even going so far as to award him a Peabody at one point when, at best, he was an entertainer/commentator not unlike a liberal Rush.

'Stewart chose to single out Cramer because he had the audacity to criticize Obama' These days if you single out someone for criticism, they become a media magnet and an aid to their opponents cause. DOH!

Cramer already demonstrate how the Bear Stearns quote was taken WAY out of context. I think he is just letting it ride here since he has bigger fish to fry.

Rush talked about this yesterday. Cramer’s AGHAST that Hussein’s hit squad is attacking him. After all, he IS a liberal democrat and supported Hussein! He’s SHOCKED that MSM mis-quote him and they lie about him, etc.
Basically, Rush said, “Welcome to our world. It’s what we deal with on a daily basis.”
Cramer was surprised that the libs now attack everything he does or says, and the conservatives are open-minded and civil to him. Maybe he’s seen the light.
