Yours was the first explanation I thought of when I heard the story - recall Obama's comments about the U.S. dictating other countries instead of "listening" to them.

Then when reading about Obama's grandfather, it clearly became the correct explanation.

Well you know Ann, we are Americans first. But besides being offended by Obama's behavior because Britain is our strongest and best friend, many of us might also be offended because of our British roots. Obama should be careful. Blacks are not the only ones with racial or ethnic sensitivities.

With black politicians and authority figures, there is always the danger they have attitudes like the one you described and will engage in "get evenism" even with white Americans in this country. And it is a legitimate issue for white voters (and others) to consider in the voting booth, and an issue which is rarely discussed.

I have a hard time buying into his love for Kenya and his Kenyan relatives. At most it is an excuse. His mentoring early on by the Communist Leonard Davis and continuing education at the knee of Bill Ayers and his "Spiritual Father", Jeremiah Wright, are the most reasonable. After all, America is Evil, God Damn America, etc., etc., makes these things likely.

His goal is the destruction of our Constitution and a remaking of America into a USSR. Alienating America's allies and smoozing our enemies is part of making that happen.
