BRITAINS nuclear defence HQ could be under threat from terrorists using Google Earth. Close-up aerial views of the top-secret Naval base are on the computer program available for free over the internet.
It even reveals the longitude and latitude of the facility in Faslane, Scotland home to the UKs Trident-armed nuclear submarine force.
And pictures clearly show two vast Vanguard Class submarines each capable of carrying 16 nuclear missiles.
Military experts warn that would make it easy for terrorists to launch accurate mortar or rocket attacks.

There are a bunch of protesters camped outside the front gate every day.......
I’ve been there - the pub on base is something else....
It works both ways. They can see us. But we can see them, too.
So many of the important parts of a submarine are internal, all they really need to cover is the screws.
I'm no military expert but I have a feeling that wouldn't turn out too well for the attackers.
What harm could a couple of liberals with gobs of technology accomplish?
I didn’t say it was a spokesman from Groom lake.
I just checked and Google Earth shows the exact same borders for Georgia as the most updated map on the Georgia Wikipedia page. This includes the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The country of Georgia is as clearly labeled as the surrounding countries. If Google Earth were somehow favoring Russia, they would have at least removed South Ossetia from Georgia, but they didn't.
I suspect that you just heard a rumor about this and didn't actually check for yourself.
In case corporate structure is foreign to you they control the board and the majority of shares so as to keep it that way.
As I pointed out to you yesterday, Russians do not control a majority of Google shares. Again, I actually checked and you didn't.
I went to college with a gent who was of Serbian parents, while a US Marine he had the Serb flag tattooed on the whole of his back so as to make certain ALL knew where his allegiance lays.
Having run into a bunch of Serbians on FR, this doesn't surprise me at all. IMHO this person should have been in the Serbian military and did not belong in the Marines.
Russians are the same way.
I know and live near some Russian immigrants and they are not all the same way.
