I don’t think he was cultivated from birth as a presidential candidate. But I do think he was indoctrinated from birth as a Socialist with anti-Western ideals. I blame his mother and her circle of friends.
Don't forget that his grandmother was also a strong Communist, who raised him when his mother dumped him on her doorstep. He has been raised his entire life to believe in the Marxist religion.
