He just said it live on CNBC...deflected it before but Joe Kernen asked again...Warren Buffett "I'm against card check"
Here is posting from CNBC blog: 8:33a: Buffett says union elections should continue to be by secret ballot. He is opposed to the "card check" proposal for worker votes on joining unions.
Buffet’s chickens are coming home to roost.
He’s a scumbag just trying to get people to put money into his comapny. And some are pulling their money out, like Bill Gates.
Buffett says union elections should continue to be by secret ballot. He is opposed to the "card check" proposal for worker votes on joining unions.Since the proposal is going to pass, and this loser supported the Sock Puppet, big deal.
“When will Buffett be producing his own David Brooks and regret his decision to back 0bama?”
Why, he’s getting to buy the market...cheap. Oh, I get it you think the public won’t throw the bums out in 2010. Sorry Warren, if that’s teh case, you may be in the food lines like everyone else.
Warren is taking a bath just like everyone else.
AIG got an $80billion dollar check and they are wanting more. How much will Warren Buffett be getting?
Buffett is a social liberal.
It rules him.
a baby killing enabler of the first order
may he rot in hell
“I’ve become a BIG TIME Joe Kernen fan”
My condolences. I think Joe is a brain-dead Liberal, and when he starts speaking I make a quick lunge for the remote control. Becky Quick is a lot more intelligent than Joe, and also easy on the eyes.
The shares of Berkshire Hathaway is now at the levels 10 years ago... not only that, some of his biggest picks are hurting him... Wells Fargo, American Express and now... Burlington Northern.
But I don't feel so sorry for him... he made the choice to back up a socialist and remember him telling everyone that he doesn't think he is being taxed enough? Well, since Warren lost half of his net worth... I bet you he is really regretting his decision now...

Buffeet is a greed sh**. His Berkshire Hathaway owns Kirby vacuums which preys on poor old people in rural areas. They end up selling people in trailers $500 vacs on time payments with high interest rate financing deals. So people in trailers end up paying $3,000 for a vac. A story in the WSJ a few years ago talked about Kirby’s slimy practices.
Correct. There is a disconnect between what he is saying about the efficacies of 0bama's policies (none) and his general support for 0bama.
It could be delusion on the part of the old coot. But I think it is intellectual dishonesty. Buffet railed several times against corporate dishonesty, and then lied his ass off when the topic was 0bama.
Exactly.....Obozo has already told the union thugs that he’ll pay up.
HUGE logic disconect.
Buffet is essentially rescuing his OWN positions.
Oracle of Omaha is just playing to the mob to save his own posterior.
imagine the birkshire shareholders bailing on him.
“Buffet has been delusionally pro obama.”
Just speculating, but I doubt buffett is prone to rapturous adulation when it comes to politicians. He could not have survived at his level as long as he has if he were.
Following this assumption, I conclude it means he thinks the interests that are presumed to be running the current administration are in his best interests as well.
His interests are not our interests. Billionaires are functionally as powerful as small nation-states, and have little in common with us.
I don’t take anything Buffett takes seriously. He’s just the typical lib who advocates higher tax rates, while having several armies of lawyers and accountants looking at every angle they can get to minimize HIS tax liability (just like the Kennedys, for instance). The day Buffett actually pays taxes at the rates at which he wants everyone else to pay them, is the day I’ll consider taking him seriously.
Well then it's a darn good thing it's Soros' turn to work the puppet strings today.
I hope Buffett loses billions. He’re your president, Warren. Suck it up.
Buffett said that both Republicans and Demos should support Obama. Since it’s rather obvious that Congressional Demos are on the same page as Obama, what Buffett really means is this: Republicans should cave in and do whatever Obama wants.
To the contrary, Republicans should grow a backbone and oppose Obama’s socialism.
