As a matter of fact, yes. The Muslim Brotherhood is tremendously popular and actually won the most recent Egyptian parliamentary elections, despite being outlawed by the Mubarack regime. Hamas is the Palestinian arm of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, although it is increasingly being seen in a leadership role rather than second fiddle. Hamas' support has likely only increased since the December war.
