So the latest creepy, almost funny story comes out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a volunteer gun safety instructor ordered “liberals” out of his class, specifically Daniel Reddy and his son Lane Dunkley. Tulsa World writes:

…when father and son arrived at the lesson, the volunteer instructor, Kell Wolf, asked if any of the students voted for President Obama.

Reddy, a transplanted Californian - and ex-Marine - raised his hand.

According to Reddy and others in the room, Wolf called Obama “the next thing to the Anti-Christ” and ordered Reddy and Dunkley from the room. When Reddy refused, Wolf said he would not teach “liberals” and would cancel the course if Reddy didn’t leave.

So Reddy and Dunkley left, as did a few others.

There are, however, large communities online, like Free Republic and Lucianne.com, where behavior like that instructor’s is widely seen as both normal and laudable. When the Shirley Nagel story broke, for instance, quite a few of posters on Free Republic commented on the story to cheer her on. “I love this woman!” exclaimed one. “We should have done the same, here,” said another. “What a great way to learn about how handouts work!” “After my own heart. The enemy in this war are the evil. No point in making their life easier or 'better'.”

The politically “sophisticated” response, of course, is to roll one’s eyes and say, with a world-weary air, that there’s nothing new about this. The politically “sophisticated” response is wrong. In fact, there is something new about it.

These kind of online communities, where countless like-minded haters visit every day, hang around for several hours, read news solely from the perspective of other haters...

Interesting how they always manage to miss KOS and the DU when they speak about posters being evicted from here for non conservative posts.

There’s no reason to be ashamed of excluding liberals from conservative websites just as there’s no reason to be ashamed of doing the same to conservatives on liberal websites. The real difference is that liberals don’t have the courage to admit to doing it.

I wonder about the original story.

Why would one of your first reactions be to run to a well-known Liberal Democrat newspaper and "tell" your story.

I also wonder about an "Ex-Marine" bringing his kid to the clinic....just so he can "hunt" with dear old grandpa. It's for the kids you know!!

I agree wholeheartedly with the instructor's sentiments! Why put non-mental diseased (ie, non-liberal) students in the same room! Personally, I 'd have taken their money and rescheduled them for a 'liberal' class. I mean it's a shame that a marine was involved for instance. I'd have given him a pass if his son weren't with him...he coulda said he voted Obama just to stay in good graces with his son, Lord knows it's hard enough to 'stay in contact' without all this help from politics. Bottom line, perhaps what he meant to say was: "he (nor anyone else for that matter) cannot teach “liberals” and would cancel the course. Most of us know you really can't teach a liberal anything, they're unreachable with common sense issues.

Liberals have a sense of entitlement, are often lazy, are easily offended, and generally poor employees. They also piss me off. No sense in having them around.
