As this is being written, joblessness has hit a 25 year high. The Dow is plunging and neither Obama nor Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner can open their mouths without making it go lower. There’s one sure sign of distress and distrust; few people want to join the top ranks of his administration.

Pinochet was able to accomplish successfully in Chile - with the loss of a mere 1500 lives, what JFK & LBJ were unable to accomplish in Vietnam at a loss of well over a million lives - 60,000 of which were young American boys.
Allende was preparing for a Communist coup to put down popular dissent. Pinochet was a military man and found out that the Allende Communists were getting shipments of Soviet weapons and those weapons were on ships in Valparaiso Harbor.

Allende killed himself, as he was gracefully given free passage to any nation that would take him in exile by the valiant Generalissimo Pinochet.
I see people upset - but they just turn off the TV, and do nothing.
I also see that although all of us are shocked that he could get this far in such a short time - most people have not even realized the danger of going socialistic.
We have a dumbed down society, we have the young who have been spoiled and are looking for another parent to pay for everything and this generation does not have the moral character to uphold the sanctity of life which will lead to withdrawing of health care of the weak and elderly and enshrine abortion at all stages.
Then add in the overall corruption in government demonizing any true candidate that would work for the people (as evidenced by Sarah and now Rush), and we have the end of America approaching fast.
We are just becoming unworthy of God’s help in preserving this nation and without God’s protective hand, we are at the mercy of any politician becoming president.

In all probability we will, but I don’t think that Biden is cut of the same cloth that Obama is. I don’t think that Biden will be out to destroy this nation outright. Biden is an American and we cannot say that of Obama with certainty.
Biden has never surrounded himself with America-haters or downright ex-terrorists while Obama has.
Additionally, Biden may have learned a lesson from the events of the last two months and may want to become a good president just for enhancement of his legacy. Whether he will succeed to become one is an entirely other question. I also think that Biden will pose less of a national security risk than Obama is.
Of the two evils, I’ll take Biden any time over Obama, unless we have a better choice.
Discontent will continue to grow, especially when people begin seeing their brokerage account statements and understand that their 401Ks, for which they sacrificed so much to build, have disappeared.
Our best bet now is to make sure that EVERY Congressman and Senator up for election in 2010 are fearful for their jobs. The sooner, the better. This includes dims, and especially RINOs. I pray The Country will survive that long.
Other than that, our only hope is that The SCOTUS removes him, because he fails the "Natural Born" requirement.

No voter is judging whether we are better than the Dems - they are judging what each party gives them.

I did not vote for McCain. I voted for Sarah and he was just in the way.
If things get bad enough, even black people won’t want him. They are proud to have a black President, but they aren’t stupid and they know hunger too.
I know several who are upset at the lousy $13 a week tax stimulus. Most thought they were going to get a check “like George Bush gave them”.
I’m kind of hoping that is the case. That at some point, some judge will see what a wreck this is and THAT is when the birth certificate issue will be forced out.
You know, I get tired of hearing, “if we impeach bozo we get Biden”, as if that is a bad thing. No one, including Biden, could be as bad as the communist we have in the WH right now. Biden isn’t a communist, he is just and idiot. If he appointed a decent VP he would do ok, and I would bet he would stop this insane spending and driving the US to the brink of extinction. Impeach Bozo and we will handle the aftermath.
If you think bush is innocent, then I’d say you’re pretty dumb. The vid clearly shows bush bragging about using fanny and freddy to get minorities into homes they can’t afford.
What could bring Obama down would be something like his usurping the 2010 Census for political gain or massive fraud with all these trillions being spent. There is still an outside chance that somewhere someone will find proof of his foreign birth likely in Kenya.
no one that was already on public assistance is going to suffer more than they were before obama. So those people won’t get a negative opinion of him. Even if their situation stays the same, they will think they are better off if they know the rich people are suffering.
What if there is no 2010 election?
If we don't manage to fix the primaries so that the Democrats don't choose our candidates, and figure out how to neutralize ACORN(which will be backed by Justice this time around) 2010 won't really matter all that much. With ACORN overseeing the polls the Republican candidate will have to be ahead maybe 30% to have a chance of winning the count. Even designated "Blowouts" haven't done that well except in a couple of districts, mostly Democrat.
Everytime Obama shows his ugly mug on TV, the market goes about 250 points lower.
Dream on but remember that O’Bama has effectively put the mechanism for socialized Medicine in place already and ACORN will control elections. He has the meat of his socialism in place already. Three Republican senators voted for it and with them it passed. Every step toward Socialized Medicine is irreversible. Now we have a bureaucracy (from Stimulus) set up to oversee and second guess every decision by every doctor including as to whether you will be treated at all.Decisions are to be made based on value to society. How much productive value to society is an unpolitically connected retired person? a handicapped baby? a preacher?

Effectively Congress can impeach for any notion that occurs. High crimes and misdemeanors are not defined in the Constitution, thus Congress can define them any way it chooses.
