Obama's Hatred of the Stock Market (Vanity)

Posted on 03/08/2009 10:04:17 AM PDT by pantherskincreek

While you have your mind on your 401K, remember that Zero, or as some call him "Obummer", does not care about your 401K.

Here is a quote from one of his typical speeches, taken from a story by Mark Stein:

"Virtually every time Obama deviated from the text, he expressed the partisan anger that has so poisoned the Democratic party... At one, point when addressing what we have to do for the economy, Obama ad-libbed, "The insurance and the drug companies aren't going to give up their profits easily . . . Exxon Mobil made $11 billion this past quarter..."

Obama's shot at Exxon Mobil's profits is strikingly disingenuous. He seems to be implicitly saying that the healthy earnings are good news for Mr. Exxon and Mr. Mobil, who will promptly stash most of the profits underneath their obviously outsized mattresses... Barack Obama is far too intelligent to not realize that many of the school teachers and union workers and working moms that so often people his more elegant speeches likely have an interest in Exxon Mobil's profits either from their retirement plan's portfolio or their union's holdings or their own investments that they actively manage...

Worse still was the threat to take away the profits of the drug and insurance companies. Perhaps Obama thinks that the drug companies will continue to develop life saving therapies out of benevolence, and that their employees will happily take the pay cuts that will accompany the loss of profits. ....."

I think the point here is that he knows exactly what he is doing and the first sentence from his quote is the tip off as to why.

Obummer has a dislike, no a hatred, of wealth and success that borders on the psychotic and which is the cornerstone of his economic beliefs and policy, nurtured and matured under the teachings of Frank Davis and Sol Linsky.

Most liberals I know actually believe that there is a Mr Exxon and Mr Mobil. I’ve tried to explain it until my throat is sore that those “evil” profits are going to shareholders, like you and me. They always agree with me “in principle”, but then say that those profits needs to go back to the people.

You can’t argue with that level of insanity.

Your friend is in a much better place.

As for the economy, this slump wouldn’t be lasting if McCain would have been elected. Companies now know that if they get back on their feet somehow Obama will confiscate their profits. Too much fear over losing more if they earn the littlest bit.

Thanks in significant measure to Mr. Obama’s perceived intentions, the insurance company I work for has no profits, nor do many others. Next target: health care and pharmaceuticals. Look out below.

They don’t understand the concept of ‘process,’ which is vital for any person who wants to run a business.

These stupid AA hirees simply do not understand what it is to study, sacrifice, and take risks while learning the vital maketable skills that a person needs before they even start trying to sell their product.

I’m starting my own business in the future and I plan on getting a Computer Office Specialist certification mainly so I understand how to use Microsoft Access, the accounting program and Excel. While I get some seed money I’m also going to take a phlebotomy course to get certified in that so I can get a solid job in the medical field, then learn Medical Terminology.

I could take a business course, but at the moment I want to be as small as possible. But as I said, business is an eternal process and something these idiots don’t get. Many of them simply go to school, get a degree, and then get the job wihtout any practical experience.

You can’t argue with that level of insanity.

I think we need to:

"The mystics of spirit curse matter, the mystics of muscle curse profit. The first wish men to profit by renouncing the earth, the second wish men to inherit the earth by renouncing all profit. Their non-material, non-profit worlds are realms where rivers run with milk and coffee, where wine spurts from rocks at their command, where pastry drops on them from clouds at the price of opening their mouth. On this material, profit-chasing earth, an enormous investment of virtue - of intelligence, integrity, energy, skill - is required to construct a railroad to carry them the distance of one mile; in their non-material, non-profit world, they travel from planet to planet at the cost of a wish. If an honest person asks them: "How?" - they answer with righteous scorn that a "how" is the concept of vulgar realists; the concept of superior spirits is "Somehow." On this earth restricted by matter and profit, rewards are achieved by thought; in a world set free of such restrictions, rewards are achieved by wishing.

"And that is the whole of their shabby secret. The secret of all their esoteric philosophies, of all their dialectics and super-senses, of their evasive eyes and snarling words, the secret for which they destroy civilization, language, industries and lives, the secret for which they pierce their own eyes and eardrums, grind out their senses, blank out their minds, the purpose for which they dissolve the absolutes of reason, logic, matter, existence, reality - is to erect upon that plastic fog a single holy absolute: their Wish."
