“Lets be honest here. Here is a guy who hasn’t really put in a true 40-hour workweek ever in his life.”

You’ve never been on a political campaign. I have lots of opinions about the Bamster, but to say his problem is that he has never had the opportunity to develop a “work ethic” because he never worked a 40-hr week in his life isn’t one of them.

Political campaigns are 80hr/wk jobs for months on end.

Obama is clearly unprepared to be President. Shoot. We all knew that here. But not because he’s never worked a long week.

I thought it was total garbage when the drive-bys were saying that running a campaign is evidence of executive leadership. But. It actually IS evidence of the ability to put in long hours.

Political campaigns are tiring, but hardly challenging in the way the presidency is.

Moreover, campaigning is a sort of niche work that fits the Obamassiah well, where the focus is on self and oratory, played out before large adoring crowds. It’s hard work in the way that being a rock star is hard work.

The Obamassiah is finding out out that doing well at self-promotion does not equate to an ability to competently lead and solve the problems confronting the largest, most powerful nation in the history of the planet especially at a time of economic crisis and severe international turmoil.
