The whole end game for Bernie now is to keep his wife Ruth knee deep in jewels, furs, Caribbean vacations, plastic surgery, fine wine, and lunches in midtown.

He is going to prison for the rest of life, no matter what, he he knows it. The Feds are foolish to offer him any "deal" that allows Ruth (who is a co-conspirator to this scheme) get away Scott free. She even lobbied new investors to give them their money (knowing full well it was going down a black hole) and pressured charity groups to do the same.

Ruth wants her fair share. Then, she can give more money to Democrats over the years with what is left over. Chuck Schumer needs another pile of their money.

Sentence them both to cleaning toilets with a toothbrush in a mental hospital for the rest of their days.

And tell them to bring their own toothbrushes to use.

Guiltier than a middle-aged naughty schoolteacher! They’ve got him so dead to rights that I don’t understand what they can give him in exchange for his plea. Even if he rolls on those who helped him, he’s the kingpin, and has to go away for a term which, at his age, is basically a life sentence.
