Something we can agree on:

"Yes, this is a moment of challenge for our country."

So, let's pick up that challenge and do the right thing:

Answering the challenge by getting our own jobs (without government help):

Do we want Obama to advise us on the economy?
Definitely not, in my opinion.

Do we want more Pelosi endoresed pork packages for Obama to sign? Definitely not, in my opinion.

The Great Depression was an era, not a moment.

Here is the new Obama gambling game: In any speech, interview, etc., how long does it take before he uses the phrase “boldly and swiftly” or “swiftly and boldly”?

And for bonus points, which version will he use first?

This is beginning to work for his courtiers and sycophants as well.

The man talks a great deal but the talk is getting real thin right now. He apparently is NOT doing the right thing to fix this mess. I am not an economist like many of you out there, I did not go to Yale or Harvard but we do know that the agenda he is implemeting is killing us AND HE KNOWS IT! I can’t stomach his retoric. The only conclusion anyone can come to is that he is not our friend he is the enemy.

CommieBama ain't gonna fix nuthin'.

CommieBama don't know how to fix anythin'.

CommieBama is dancing the teaberry shuffle trying to get his outrageous spending folly passed before the public wakes up.

BUT....like the crew of the Titanic...it's all starting to fall apart. There's a leak in the hull and the water is slowly seeping in.

However, nothing is quite so dangerous as an exposed tyrant, and when his ship starts to break apart, look out.

I submit that his recent "tired" spell that insulted the Brits, is more like abject fear. He sees some of his motar cracking, and he's worried about crumbling. He knows he can't do the job; has neither the skills, the intelligence, nor the demeanor to do it.

Cool talking, slow walking, good looking Mohair Sam for President.

"President Obama Presses the Case for Bold Action to Address the Economic Crisis."

Presses?

Buahahahahahaha.!

Why doesn't he cut all taxes, including capital Gains, put banks into receivership, and slow down the Treasury's printing presses , so that investors can help with the recovery?

That would be leading but Obama" Presses".

Lets reword that headline:

"Chairman Obama Presses the Case for Bold Action to Address the Economic Crisis."

Could be a headline out of Red China. I wouldn't let Obama press my shirt, let alone anything about my economy.

He wants investors back? He had better make the conditions right rather than "pressing" them. When his press fails then watch the fascism come forth, because his remedy will be tyranny.

Every time he puts his ugly mug on the tube the market tanks another 250. Wish he’d shut up.

... and lift home values for millions more

Lifting home values artificially wouldn't help first-time buyers even if the government can pull this off. I think this is just wishful thinking on Obama's part. He's pouring our tax dollars down a black hole to try to save himself.
