Obama is in trouble
DC Examiner ^ | Mar. 6, 2009 | tapscott's copy desk

Posted on 03/07/2009 2:03:21 AM PST by SvenMagnussen

* Since the first of the year, Rush Limbaugh's audience has exploded , according to Howard Kurtz of The Washington Post, even as his daily assaults on Obama have intensified. The conservative Talk Radio maestro has become quite possibly the most listened-to radio personality in America since before Paul Harvey (God rest his soul).

Demand for his air time hs suddenly become so intense, Limbaugh told The Examiner's Byron York earlier today, that his network sold 80 percent as much advertising in January 2009 as it did in all of 2008, and expects to sell-out the year by the end of March. That was before Obama and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel launched an explicit counter-attack against Limbaugh that seems only to be making him bigger.

* Glenn Beck's eminently forgettable presence on CNN has been transformed, according to The Los Angeles Times, by his move to Fox News where his main theme has been variations on this question - Wake Up! Wake UP! What in Heaven's name does Barack Obama think he is doing to America? Beck has a tough time slot from which to win big ratings because he's in the middle of evening drive-time. Even so, in a very short period of time at Fox, his audience has grown to the point that it is now exceeded only by those of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity.

* Obama remains personally popular with the public, but worries and even outright opposition to some of his cornerstone proposals are growing. Democrats in Congress are even beginning to express in public print their worries that Obama has reached too far with the $787 billion economic stimulus package, the $410 billion omnibus spending bill and the $3.6 trillion budget proposal.

Did you feel it? The political ground shifting beneath President Barack Obama since his speech last week to Congress?

I didn’t feel it. Wrong doesn’t work. The fanfare and chris matthews panty parties aside. What he says, obama, does not work.

The Titanic has hit the iceberg, yet it still continues to continue full steam ahead....for now. Yet the economy is shifting water at an unprecedented rate... those in steerage know it first and have no way to get out. (for the slow DUmmies...the poor are the first to lose their jobs and no one in the administration cares.)

Obama is an empty suit limited to reading from a teleprompter. The curtain is starting to slip and more and more Americans are seeing the emperor has no clothes.

Let me tell you how much Rush’s audience has increased.

WLS use to come in clear and strong, here in Central Illinois. But today so many people are tuning into Rush on WLS that I barely get the program any more because the signal is almost all used up.

Oh...stop it!

This is delicious!

“Forgive me, please for saying so, but, if you read my Valentine’s Day column on why Obama seemed locked in on a strategy that was likely to make him a one-term occupant of the White House, none of the above would come as a surprise to you. My only surprise today is that the shift has begun so quickly.”

;o)

While campaigning, Barack’s goon squad covered for his inadequacies. In the national limelight, at all times, they can't cover for him.

The left made fun of President Bush but not one time did President Bush have to depend on a Teleprompter.

This so-called Community Leader? Kenyan? Socialist? or whomever this man may be ...he is not my president...never has been never will be...at this time in my life I'm ashamed of the person in the Oval Office - Barack Hussein Obama.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson if the GOP has any shot at winning.

We are outnumbered by imbeciles at the polls.

Obama is an empty suit limited to reading from a teleprompter. The curtain is starting to slip and more and more Americans are seeing the emperor has no clothes.

When they deem the time right for a Democrat to hold the oval office, our hidden masters select a non-entity, a half-hearted loser, as the Republican candidate -- then order him to take a dive.

Remember how Bob Dole let it slip that he did not consider himself bound by the party platform?

Or "read my hips" Bush?

Fortunately (actually, providentially) what happens in MY house is far more important, in the long run, than who happens to sit in the White House.

"But today so many people are tuning into Rush on WLS that I barely get the program any more because the signal is almost all used up."

There's a cure for that. All you have to do is call up your cell phone provider and tell them you want a party line. Then specify that you want it to be a GOP party line (or other right wing party if GOP is all sold out.) You then plug the cell phone into your car cigarette lighter (which of course you never use anyway) and the signal will piggy-back itself right onto your car radio.

You can boost reception even further by wrapping both the cell phone and your car's antenna in aluminum foil. (Foil made of real tin just won't work, cause it blocks all microwaves.)

Thanks for the advice. What I did to improve the reception was turn on another radio so I used up twice my alloted signal strength. It worked like a charm.

If I lose the signal again I’ll try your suggestion. To improve on your suggestion, I think if I take the tires off the car, and lower the rims to the dirt, so it will be grounded, it might work better.

Not true. Ask Rush. He would say the same. The American People are beginning to notice. This president has been in office from January to March and has succeded in collapsing the stock market of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

"Call 911!!!!"

O.M.G. He can't call 911 for just any old thing!!!

This does not even come close to being an Emergency.

People please remember, if it ain't at least as important as "A McNuggets Shortage" then use the regular number to call the police!
