Not my experience. Fedex ground has unpredictable delivery times, no Monday deliveries, no easy way to hold packages for pickup.
My UPS guy comes every morning at 10:45. He showed up in the middle of a blizzard that canceled mail delivery.
No Monday deliveries? Ground is only closed on weekends. I know of the other divisions (Home Delivery) is closed Mondays. The routes Ground has is run by independent contractors. For a route with three UPS drivers, there is only one Ground driver doing that area. Plus, FedEx Ground drivers don’t have to go on strike every five years or so.
