Too often the news is sanitized. Since this country seems to have become unable to understand most anything that is not visual, reporting “Bus Driver Beaten by 16-Year old,” does not sink in.
9/11 showed us extreme omission by the media. If the nation saw the full and true horror of that day, I believe that it would have been much more difficult to forget, and strengthen the American people’s resolve much more than it was.
Watching buildings fall burns in the brain. Watching people jump from buildings, and the street below, burns in much deeper. You need to see the pain and destruction brought about by actions.
I also think that video evidence should be more admissible in courts so that juries can see the crime, the victim, and the perpetrator as it all comes together.
Video is news, and necessary for proof. Otherwise, why have cameras for the media at all? Just let the anchor’s words suffice for reporting.
That’s why cops have dash cameras, for the documentation of either the perpetrator’s or the cops actions.

It’s a valid point, and there is a huge racial disparity in who does these kind of things, and that should not be covered up.
But I’m pretty sure that if this becomes the new standard to provoke a reaction, it just means that next year it’ll have to be more, & so on. It just can’t be like that, long term.

There was a time when I thought I could neither far enough or fast enough away from the North Side's pansy and celery fields, and “suffering” through the Dutch service with grandma.

How the hell have the schools and law enforcement let this kid stay out of custody this long with such a violent history with polic records of assaulting so many people? The video shows that the boy is a rabid dog, completely out of control. Why has there not been an investigation of the parents? Violence at home is likely. Has somebody been paid off here or are the parents in a “protected” category because of status or race? This boy needs to be put away for a very, very long time. Anger management counselling for let’s say 60 years.
Waste of time. You can not collect against welfare payments.
