As you point out, it's the LOVE of money that is evil. A poor person can be evil if they give up their morals for money. A rich person can go to heaven just fine if money isn't the center of their life.

Anyone that has spent anytime in church would know this. It's always fascinating to hear misinterpretations and frankly, wives tales, being spouted by people that should know better. How many sermons has a Christian sat through with the verses on "God helps those that help themselves"? Getting religious instruction from Ayn Rand should be suspect from the get go.
